Educational requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) :
1. Commerce / Economics / Science Graduates with 3 to 5 years’ experience in Materials management function
2. Degree / diploma in Materials Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Operations Management will be an added advantage
3. Expertise in computer applications, especially MS Office Suite
Desirable qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : Fluency in English is essential; competence in Telugu and Hindi is desirable
Job responsibilities / description ( उत्तरदायित्व) :Process Request for Purchases (RFPs) as per policy and deadlines of the Institute.
Help develop specifications for goods, works and services to be purchased Send enquiry and invite and assess vendor quotations, assess bids, and make comparative statements and recommendations for supply contracts/purchase orders
Prepare purchase orders with supply contract terms & conditions and issue/follow-up Prepare/maintain purchase records, reports, price lists, vendor lists Administer contract performance, delivery, receipt, insurance, warranty and damages Reconcile and resolve discrepancies
Process invoices after completion of formalities and forward to Finance for releasing payment. Provide samples/catalogues to end users to meet their requirement
Update RFP Record online regularly Assign asset numbers to equipment on receipt of Goods Receiving Report(s) and inform all concerned staff through email to collect material Prepare Property Custody receipts and enter in to system
Make entries through system from Asset Masters to PCR, Transfers, PDA, and other transactions till the end Issue of all uniform and protective shoes to eligible staff
Update disposed assets in system as “Sold” Do physical verification of stock items Help in preparation of No Dues clearance certificate and transfer PCRs Know and comply with rules and regulations Perform any other jobs assigned by Supervisor
