Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT) recruits Young Professional-II post. M.Sc. experienced candidates can apply.

The Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT) set up in 1954 is the only national center in the country where research in all disciplines relating to fishing and fish processing is undertaken. The institute started functioning at Cochin in 1957. Research centers function at Veraval (Gujarat), Visakhapatnam (AP), Mumbai (Maharashtra). The institute functions with the following mandate: To conduct basic, strategic and applied research in fishing and fish processing. To develop designs for fuel efficient fishing vessels and fishing gear for responsible fishing. To develop technologies for commercial isolation of bioactive compounds and industrially important products from fish and fishery wastes. To design innovative implements and machineries for fishing and fish processing and pilot plants for facilitating commercialization of technologies developed.

Pay Scale ( वेतन ) : Rs.25,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)

Educational Requirements ( शैक्षिक आवश्यकता ) : 

M.Sc. in Microbiology/ M.Sc, in any branch of life Sciences with experience of Microbiology.

Desirable Qualifications ( वांछनीय योग्यता ) : 

Hands in experience in Microbiological techniques in the areas of Anti Microbial Resistance (AMR).

Age Limit ( आयु सीमा ) : 

Minimum age will be 21 years and maximum 45 years as on 08.05.2018.

Eligible and desirous candidates fulfilling all the requirements should come for interview with duly filled bio-data with full details of academic qualifications along with attested copies as well as original copy of the relevant documents and a recent passport size photograph.

General Instructions ( सामान्य निर्देश ) : 

1. Mentioned position is purely temporary & time bound and may be terminated by the Competent Authority without assigning any reason. 

2. Candidate should possess 60 (%) marks or equivalent overall GPA. 

3. Registration will begin at 9.00 am and closed at 11.00 am. 

4. Candidate should bring detailed bio-data affixing a recent passport size photograph and required self attested copies of all the certificates. 

5. Age relaxation will be 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidate. 

6. Place of work will be at Cochin. 

7. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview. 

8. The Directors decision will be final and binding in all respects.
